Our Fundraisers Our Heartfelt Thanks to Our 2023-2024 Fundraising Heroes ๐ At Mental Health Resource, we're incredibly grateful for the support we receive from our community. Today, we want to shine a spotlight on the individuals who went above and beyond in 2023-2024 to raise funds for our cause: Millie Denton who ran the Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon for us in February 2024 and raised over £250! Tanya Griffiths who is fundraising during Rock Choir Rehearsals by running a tea bar. Hana & Steve Wynne and Jessica Moore: This terrific trio organized a fun-filled quiz in November, raising over £1350! ๐ฒ Nathan Hobson and Chris Huggett: Scaling new heights, they climbed 8849 meters, equivalent to Mount Everest's summit, in November 2023. Their adventurous spirit helped them raise over £1000! ๐๏ธ Hannah Stevens and Paul Stevens: They brought the community together for an 'Autumn Ball' at the High Rocks in October 2023, raising a whopping £10,000! ๐๐ Adnane Ayeb: Showcasing his stamina and resolve, Adnane ran the Royal Parks Half Marathon for Mental Health Resource. ๐ Stephen Gurney (Index Digital) and Laura Bevan (St Johns Lawn Tennis Club): They brought joy and competition to the community with their annual Boules event at the Pantiles in July 2023, raising £400. ๐พ Alexandra O'Connor: She took the challenge head-on, participating in the Tonbridge Triathlon for Mental Health Resource, and raising over £300! ๐โ๏ธ๐ดโ๏ธ๐โ๏ธ DJ Marcel Mendez and DJ Jaime Cooke: They turned up the music and the support for Mental Health Resource with their 'Animals in the Night' event at Salomans Estate. ๐ง Ministry of Sound Resident DJ, Tim Cullen: Our patron not only spins sensational music but also hosts regular 'SWITCH' nights at the Forum and a 'Shake it' night at the Assembly Halls. We're deeply thankful for each and every one of these individuals for their dedication and support. Because of them, we're able to continue our mission of providing essential mental health resources to our community. Haescooper Accounts: Your team's two-day volunteering stint in September 2022 to refurbish our lounge space at the Hub made a world of difference! Esure Group: The makeover you gave our art room in November 2022 as part of your volunteer days was much needed and very much appreciated! And of course, a huge thank you to all the volunteers who made our 30th birthday celebrations a resounding success! Clare Hall and Malachi Tyler: Your passionate speeches about your experiences accessing our services were deeply moving.
